Beginner Dance Camp 2025
What exactly is Dance Camp?
Read more about dance camp, an introduction to ballroom dancing for complete beginners. Open to all MIT community members (students, faculty, staff and spouses)! No partner or experience required. Sign up for our mailing list here.
Schedule:
Wednesday, September 3
Where: Morss Hall (ground floor lobby of Walker Memorial)
7:00 – 9:00pm: Waltz and Foxtrot lessons, with performances by team members
9:00pm: Info session about the team
Thursday, September 4
Where: Lobby 13 (ground floor lobby of Building 13)
7:00 – 9:00pm: Rumba and Swing lessons, with performances by team members, and ice cream social after lessons at 9PM
After Dance Camp, regular classes will begin the week of September 15.
Saturday, September 5
Where: TBA
1-4pm: Team Match and enjoy some pizza!
