Alumni Corner

The nature of competitive ballroom pits our couples against each other on the floor, but our team displays a remarkable unity and a collaborative spirit. We compete against each other but we are still unambiguously a team.

Part of the reason for this collaborative spirit is our dedicated alumni, who continue to work to make our team better. Many college organizations have to search for a new identity every four years as students graduate and move on.  Our team’s alumni have ensured that MITBDT does not have to relearn the same lessons every four years, and we are happy to credit them with our high level of success.

Giving to MITBDT

Today’s MIT students understand the value of expanding their knowledge into both the arts and the sciences. The Ballroom Dance Team provides the opportunity for any MIT affiliate to improve their dancing at any skill level. We intend to use your generous donation to keep improving our training program so that our dancers can reach their full potential.

Visit the Giving Page to designate a donation to the team, or contact the Funding Coordinator to make a donation toward the MIT Open.  Thank you!
