Anecdotal Information:

• Hours MF 10-6, Sat 9-5
• They carry good collection of shoes for ladies and men.
• Enquire politely (and yer shall receive) about 10% college discount!
• For shoe brushes, call first! They usually run out of those flat brushes and sometimes carry the German-type "super" brush.
• Nice lady-owner suggested plain Petroleum Jelly to clean patent leather.

Go up Mass Ave into Boston. Boston Dancewear is at 181 Mass Ave, right side of the street with MIT behind you. It's about 2 blocks past Berkeley. If you walk up to the strip mall with the Economy Hardware, you've gone too far. (Note - as of spring 2002 there was scaffolding over the sidewalk beginning just beyond their door) There will be a door, but not much else in the way of markings. Go in the door and up the staircase to the second floor. The door is on your right, halfway up the staircase.

You could take the bus #1 up Mass. Ave. into Boston. Parking is difficult to find.
