$6,000 Prize Purse for Champ/Pre-Champ Events
The MIT Ballroom Dance Team is pleased to announce generous prizes for finalists in Champ, Pre-Champ and Open events. Prizes will be dispensed to each qualifying couple as follows:
For overall winners in Champ Standard and Champ Latin events:
- 1st Place - $500
- 2nd Place - $400
- 3rd Place - $300
- 4th-6th Place - $175
For the overall winners in Open Smooth and Open Rhythm events:
- 1st Place - $250
- 2nd Place - $150
- 3rd Place - $100
For the overall winners in Pre-Champ Standard and Pre-Champ Latin events:
- 1st Place - $175
- 2nd Place - $150
- 3rd Place - $100
The overall winners in each event also received a coupon for $150 from Championship Dance Camps. Syllabus winners received a free private lesson from one of the following coaches or studios:
